Epicentre was 20km east of Santiago (population 4,000) and 130km east of Davao (population 1.23 million), with heavy to violent shaking reported across the east of Mindanao. At least two people have been killed and damage to buildings, roads and bridges has been reported. A tsunami warning was issued for the Philippines and parts of Indonesia but has now been lifted.
