Felt Clun, Bishops Castle, Craven Arms (Shropshire) and Knighton, Newtown (Powys). Reports described, "felt like a vehicle going past but under the house", "heard the sound of an earthquake, barely felt", "creaking the rafters" and "woken by a rumble that rose in intensity then died away, similar to a passing heavy truck".
