Epicentre is in Kernali Province, a remote area in mid west Nepal, around 330 km WNW of the capital Kathmandu. Reports indicate that at least 157 people have been killed, over 600 people have been injured and many homes and buildings have been damaged or destroyed in Jajarkot and Western Rukum Districts, Kernali.
