Epicentre is in a remote area of Gorno-Badakhshan province, Takijistan approximately 390 km east of the capital Dushanbe and 290 km southwest of Kashgar, Xinjiang, 490 km southeast of Tashkent, Uzbekistan and 530 km northeast of Kabul, Afghanistan. Felt in Tajikistan, Pakistan, China, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, however no reports of casualties or major damage has been reported.
